On contract
10/07/2007I have been on a rolling contract since April 2007
Available from April 2007
14/02/2007I will be available to work on a further project around the beginning of April. This project will ideally be a website design or makeover. I really want something that I can get my teeth into and be interested in. I do have a few ideas as to the type of project that I am looking for. Please contact me as soon as possible if you want to discuss a future contract. I will be sending my CV to a number of organisations that I have a keen interest in.
The Fantom Era (Phantom Era) Project
10/02/2007I have been looking into video compression. I wanted to reduce a 100MB AVI video clip down to about 10MB. By importing the clip into Flash and discarding the audio, I managed to get the file size down to 3.7MB. Not bad. Video compression will play a major part in the Fantom Era Project and related sites such as myspace.
12/01/2007This is a tall order for me. The site is going to be developed in HTML and Flash. I am currently looking into the style of the interface and artwork. I have a design concept which has been approved so now to start building.
Music Bros
03/02/2007The boys are currently stocking the shop which will take about a month. They are very busy with the bricks and mortar store so we are all having to be patient. There has been some great feedback regarding the store, from suppliers, friends and customers. The store is expected to go live now in March. I am mainly concentrating on cosmetic details at the moment.
Financial Times
02/07/2006
Contract has ended after 13 months. I have been with the FT since
March 7, 2005. The original contract was for a two week period. I
worked on thier new website and related websites. It's a shame for
such a good team to have to part after all that time, but that's the
way it is I guess.
